From legislative letter-writing campaigns to speaker bureaus and educational materials, we organize critical immigrant-worker campaigns that are moving toward justice for all immigrants!

2/26-3/2 San Francisco, CA: Stop the Raids! No New Guest-Worker Plan!
Released 20 February 2007  By Bay Area Immigrant Rights Organizations

San Francisco, CA: Stop the Raids! No New Guest-Worker Plan!
Week of Action! 2/26-3/2!

Planning meeting Thursday 2/22 at 6pm, SF CA

In response to the rash of raids that have been affecting our communities, Bay Area immigrant rights organizations are planning a week of action (2/26 to 3/2) and will protest in front of Homeland Security's office at 630 Sansome street in San Francisco every day from 11am to 1pm. Help us plan for it by coming to our meeting Thursday!

Labor folks and day laborers should participate in the Week of Action on Tuesday (2/27) as there will be a special press conference to address how immigrant workers are exploited and to speak out against guest-worker proposals which will only make it worse for all workers. You can, however, come more days if you please!

There will also be many evening events throughout the week in all areas of the Bay for those that cannot make it in the morning (list forthcoming).
