Miami, Fl , April 24, 2007-- The Florida Alliance Pro-Legalization and Immigration Reform invites the general public to a rally on May 1st. In addition to the rally there will be three caravans that will commence at 2pm and will leave from Kendall and Homestead in Miami-Dade County and from Weston in Broward County . The general point of concentration will be at the Government Center (111 NW. 1 st. Street, Miami Fl.) The event will start at 3pm at the Govt. Center with the American National Anthem and Community leaders requesting reform on the immigration law. The march will begin at 5:45pm and will circle the main buildings of Downtown Miami and return to its main point of concentration at the Govt. Center where a Vigil is set for 7pm with the participation of authorities of different ecclesiastical entities.. We are requesting that all participants SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY bring American Flags ( without sticks or poles) and dress in red, white are blue. The police has requested that no sticks be permitted. It is also being requested that no signs with language other then with the issues of immigration reform. Large umbrellas are discouraged.
