April 19 Asia-Pacific wide day of solidarity with Palestine
This initiative, coming out of the recent Asia Pacific International Solidarity conference will be taken up by anti-war activists in numerous countries including the Philippines (where there is presently a movement growing against the return to the Philippines of US troops), Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and many more countries (as well as in
every capital city in Australia).

An organising meeting for the Sydney protest will be held this Wednesday (April 10) at 6.30pm at Lvl 3 (Concourse) UTS Broadway. Everyone is welcome. (Ph 9690 1977 for more info).

Protest: UC Berkeley, Sproul Plaza 12:00 PM
San Francisco State University, 19th and Holloway at Malcolm X Plaza 12:30 PM

Friday April 12, 2002
Demonstration - Israeli consulate S.F. (Calif. & Montgomery)
From 11:30A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
This action is only a proposal,

April 15-19 WEEK-LONG Teach-In
Students and organizations on SFSU campus are organizing a week-long teach-in
(10-15 workshops), on Mon, April 15 - Fri, April 19. These teach-ins are in
preparation to the April 20th protest occurring internationally. Having such
workshops on such topics as:

Palestine, Colombia, Philippines, Airport Workers, From Slave Trade to Free
trade, U.S. War at home and abroad, Racism, Poverty, etc...
